About this template

Kettle and Stone is a website template for a coffee roastery, built on the board behind the counter: the home page opens on this week's roast board, ten coffees as rows with the origin and farm, the altitude, three tasting words, the roast day and the price per 250 g, the week's dates at the top, sold-out rows struck through, and an Add at the end of each row. The demo is a roastery in a converted workshop in Auckland roasting Tuesdays and Fridays, with prices in New Zealand dollars.

Under the board the home page gives how ordering works in three steps (choose, pick up at the counter or have it posted, pay at pickup or by transfer), the roastery in two paragraphs with the roaster's portrait, the drum at first crack as a full-width photograph, four customer words and the counter's hours, address and map. Coffees lists the ten as cards; each coffee's page has a gallery of three (the bag, the beans, the farm), the origin in two paragraphs, the tasting notes, the roast in plain words, a grind selector (whole bean, espresso, filter, plunger) and a size selector (250 g, 1 kg) that change the price, a quantity, Add to bag, brew it in four lines and two coffees it pairs with. The bag keeps items with grind and size, offers pickup on a roast day or shipping across the country with plain selects, and opens an order email with the contents and lines for name, phone and address. The roastery page presents the three people, the workshop in six photographs and the farms by name. Wholesale is a short page for cafes. Brew guides cover espresso, filter, plunger and cold brew. Contact gives the address, hours, phone, email, WhatsApp and Instagram.

To make it yours, describe your roastery in a chat with Firevibe: your coffees with their farms, altitudes, tasting words, roast days and prices, your people and workshop photographs, your guides and the email that receives orders. The board is rewritten with your week.

Best use cases

Independent roastery

The board puts roast days, origins and prices on one screen; each coffee's page carries the farm and the brewing advice.

Roastery with a counter

The counter's hours, address and map sit beside the board, pickup is chosen from the roast days, and the three steps say payment is at the counter or by transfer.

Mail-order roaster

Grind and size selectors on every bean page, shipping chosen in the bag with its stated days, the order email with the address lines.

Wholesale supplier

A page for cafes with three lines and the email, next to the sourcing story and the farms named.

Features

The roast board

Ten rows written on line by line as the page loads, like chalk; a row brightens under the cursor and its Add slides in.

The week's dates

The board's heading shows this week's dates computed in the browser; sold-out coffees are struck through.

Grind and size

Whole bean, espresso, filter or plunger, and 250 g or 1 kg, each changing the price with a quick flip.

Bean galleries

Three photographs per coffee (the bag on the bench, the beans, the farm), changing with a short fade.

Bag in the browser

Items with grind, size and quantity kept between visits; the drawer slides in and the count bumps.

Pickup or shipping

Plain selects for a roast day pickup or shipping with its days; no calendar widget.

Order by email

Checkout opens an email with the bag, the choice of pickup or shipping and lines for name, phone and address.

Brew guides

Espresso, filter, plunger and cold brew, each with ratios, times and four numbered steps.

Parallax drum

The full-width photograph of the drum scrolls a little slower than the page.

Roastery, wholesale and contact

The three people, the workshop in six photographs and the farms; a short wholesale page; address, hours, phone, email, WhatsApp and Instagram.
