About this template

Dune is a website template for a skincare brand's shop: a small range, each product with its ingredients and its place in a ritual, and ordering by email with no accounts. The demo is a Cape Town brand of twelve products made with local botanicals, photographed in hard morning light on sand and white plaster, priced in rand.

The home page opens on one bottle standing in sand with the statement 'Skin, simplified.', then the twelve products as cards that show the product in use on hover, the ritual in three steps (cleanse, treat, protect) linked to its products, the four botanicals with photographs of the plants, a full-width photograph of the dunes, four customer words and a newsletter line that mails. Shop lists the twelve with concern chips and a sort by price or name. Each product page holds a four-photograph gallery, the price and size, a two-sentence promise, how to use it in three lines, the full ingredient list, a quantity and Add to bag, and two products it pairs with. Ingredients gives each botanical its own page with where it grows, what it does and which products carry it. Our story follows the two founders through the lab and the farm. The bag persists in the browser and its checkout opens an email with the items and quantities; Delivery and returns and Contact answer the rest.

To make it yours, describe your brand in a chat with Firevibe: the products with their prices, sizes, promises and ingredient lists, the concerns you want as filters, your botanicals or materials, your photographs, your founders' story and the email that receives orders.

Best use cases

Botanical skincare brand

The ingredient index and four plant pages give sourcing its own place: where each plant grows, what it does in a formula and which products contain it.

Small-range beauty shop

Twelve products in one grid with concern filters and a price sort, enough for a focused range without a category tree.

Founder-led brand

The story page introduces the people and the places behind the products with alternating photographs, next to the shop rather than hidden behind it.

Shop that takes orders by email

The bag prepares an order email instead of a checkout; the Delivery and returns page explains the availability check, the delivery quote and payment.

Features

Concern filter chips

Hydrate, Calm, Protect and Cleanse chips reflow the grid with a soft cross-fade to the products assigned to that concern.

Hover photographs

Each product card cross-fades to a photograph of the product in use under the cursor.

Three-step ritual

Cleanse, treat and protect are set as three steps on the home page, each linked to the product that does it.

Botanical pages

Four ingredient pages, each with the plant photographed where it grows, what it does and a grid of the products that carry it.

Ingredient lists in plain words

Every product page prints its full ingredient list and a three-line way to use it, with patch-test advice.

Pairs with

A row of two products on every product page suggests what to use alongside it.

Bag in the browser

Items and quantities stay in the bag between visits without an account.

Checkout by email

Checkout opens the shopper's email app with the items and quantities in the body and lines for name, address and phone.

Botanical marquee

The four botanical names run slowly across the home page as a quiet marquee.

Contact and delivery pages

Email, phone, WhatsApp, Instagram, the address with a map, delivery times for South Africa and abroad, and returns, each on its own short page.
