About this template
Halden is a website template for an engineering consultancy, and for any company that is judged on its work: the services explained as an engagement, the projects as case studies with their facts, the people with their faces, and a way to start a conversation. The demo is a structural and civil consultancy of forty in Melbourne working on bridges, timber buildings, heritage structures and public spaces, photographed in cool morning light.
The home page opens on a split hero, the statement on the left with a thin line drawing under it and a timber footbridge at dawn on the right, then four numbers that count up (people, years, projects, offices), six selected projects in a mixed-size grid with hover reveals, a full-width photograph of a site in progress, the four services as a quiet list, the firm in three paragraphs beside the founders' portrait, three client words and the email button. Each of the four service pages explains the work in three paragraphs, the engagement in five steps and three related projects. Projects lists twelve with a filter row; each case study has a full-bleed opening photograph, the facts (client, architect, role, value, completed), two paragraphs, six photographs in an alternating layout and the neighbouring projects. People presents four directors and twelve engineers with portraits, roles and one line each, and the way of working in four sections. Insights holds six dated articles. Careers lists four roles that each open an email with the role as the subject, and three reasons people stay. Contact gives the three offices, phone, email and LinkedIn with a map.
To make it yours, describe your firm in a chat with Firevibe: your services and how an engagement proceeds, your projects with their facts and photographs, your people with portraits, your open roles, your offices and your email. The structure and the motion stay.
Best use cases
Structural engineering consultancy
Building and bridge case studies pair the engineering role with client, architect, value and completion year, and the service pages explain what the firm does in plain words.
Civil and infrastructure firm
A civil service page and public-space projects whose case studies describe drainage, accessible paths and groundworks alongside the photographs.
Heritage specialist
The Heritage filter groups existing-building work, with case studies on retained fabric and structural intervention, and the People page names who works in it.
Any professional firm
The pattern transfers: services as an engagement, projects as case studies, people with faces, careers by email; the facts column takes whatever your clients ask for.

Features
Drawn underline
A thin line draws itself under the hero statement as the page loads, like a pen on a drawing.
Counting numbers
Four figures count up once as they enter the view: people, years, projects, offices.
Pointer-aware project tiles
The photograph drifts a few pixels toward the cursor and the name and place slide in on hover.
Service engagement in five steps
Each service page sets out how an engagement proceeds, step by step, with three related projects below.
Project filters
Bridges, Buildings, Heritage and Public space filter the twelve projects with a soft reflow.
Case study facts
Client, architect, role, value and completion year in a column beside the written account.
People with portraits
Four directors and twelve engineers, each with a portrait, a role and one line, and the way of working in four sections.
Insights
Six dated articles with excerpts on an index page and a reading page each.
Roles that apply by email
Each open role names its location and experience and opens an email with the role as the subject.
Three offices
The Contact page lists the main office with a map and the other two as address lines, with phone, email and LinkedIn.
