Nar Restaurant

Nar is a website template for a restaurant, built to read like a night there: the menu as a designed spread rather than a list, the room at night, the people who run it, and a reservation that is a message, not a form. The demo is a small Mediterranean restaurant on a steep street in Lisbon run by two sisters since 2016, photographed in low warm light with prices in euros.

The home page opens on a shared table in candlelight with the name and 'Small plates, fish, wine. Since 2016.', then a welcome from the owners with their portrait, tonight's menu as six photographed dishes with prices in an asymmetric spread, the room at night as a full-width photograph, the reservation moment with one sentence and one button, three guest words set large, and the hours, address and map. Menu holds the full menu in four sections (small plates, from the sea, from the fire, desserts and wine) with prices, one photograph per section and sticky section links on desktop. Reservations gives the hours, a button that opens WhatsApp with the date, time and guests prepared, and the phone as a link. The story tells the owners, the street and the record player after ten in six photographs. Gallery holds fourteen photographs in a mixed-size grid. Contact lists the address, hours, phone, email, Instagram, the map and the walk from the station; the footer repeats them with the reservation button on every page.
