Design direction

ARCHIVE is a fashion app that thinks it's a magazine. Every screen is a layout decision. The palette is a darkroom at midnight — near-black #0A0A0A backgrounds that make garment photography pop like a lightbox, off-white #F5F5F0 type that feels like uncoated editorial stock rather than sterile screen white. The single accent color is electric chartreuse #C8F135 — the one unexpected pop in an otherwise monochrome wardrobe, used surgically: one CTA, one data highlight, one active state. Never two chartreuse elements in the same viewport. Typography is the personality: Bebas Neue headlines in all-caps condensed at aggressive sizes (48–72px) feel like cover lines; DM Sans body copy is clean, intelligent, unobtrusive. Zero border-radius on cards (4px only) — everything is architectural, not bubbly. No drop shadows anywhere — depth is created through color value contrast alone, like a well-lit fashion studio. Spacing is editorial and generous — white space is not empty, it is intention. Grid lines are visible and structural. This app should feel like it was designed by someone who reads both Wallpaper* and System32.
